Flight of destiny
She was tired of this existence, of her metal shell and her iron heart. She had lost all humanity, all reason to continue. She had tried to end her life by throwing herself off a precipice, to the great despair of her younger sister, but something extraordinary had happened. Large black wings had sprouted on her battered back. She realized that this transformation was not a curse, but rather a blessing in disguise. She too had become an iron angel. It was a chance to free herself from her condition, to fly higher than the birds. She lifted her young sister up, kissed her on the forehead and promised to return. She spread her wings with determination and rose into the air with passion, looking for the iron angel who had stolen her face.
